UBC Orlando

I have always been an active person, love sports, running, and being outdoors, however, being out of college for sometime now and 3 kids later, I found it easier to sit at home and simply let myself go. Each day, week, month would pass and I would become more depressed at myself and what I was becoming. Every now and again, I would get some energy up and work out hard for a week or two, and then it would pass. The drive, motivation and seeing results were just not there.

Finally, one afternoon, my wife came home and told me about a woman she met and the program her husband has for losing weight. She said people have had great results, it was fun, and that I should try it. The only hard part was I had to commit to working out 6 days per week. Fortunately, with my schedule and my wife’s help I was able to commit to it fully.

I am so glad that I found UBC. It has truly changed my lifestyle. From the first week to the last, I have the same drive to go to class and work off the pounds and get stronger.
After all of the other workouts I have tried, and starting and stopping, UBC has kept me motivated and on track to achieving my goals. The staff and trainers are amazing, supportive and make getting up at 5:30am for the early workout worth it. UBC has made working out fun, challenging and motivating.

Each time I go grocery shopping and/or eat a meal, I really think about what is in the food and how it will affect me. It has become second nature now and simply a part of my everyday life. Now, I do not even miss the bad food I would eat on a regular basis.

I know first hand how easy it is to gain weight. I gained almost 40 pounds from my marriage weight, only 9 years ago. And finally after looking in my closet and feeling depressed that I had nothing to wear, because everything was tight, I had enough. Now I am thrilled to say that I look in my closet now and have to get rid of most all my clothes because the are all too big on me. I lost 4 inches and almost 20 pounds. These are real results that I can feel it and my friends and family can see it in me. I am a changed person, healthier, stronger, and happier. Now when I look in the mirror, instead of being depressed, I am proud.

I want to thank UBC, my UBC trainers, my classmates, and mainly my wife for all of their direction, motivation, shared knowledge and support. UBC not only has changed my body, it has changed my life.

Sincerely,
