I have always been an active person, never really went above 150 lbs. However, when I had my first child I had gained over 100 lbs, and then, unfortunately maintained that weight gain after my second child. I couldn’t believe I allowed myself to get so huge! I was able to lose most of the weight working out on my own. But after a period of time, I either would slack off just when I feel my muscle burning, or just be bored of the same routine all together and just not work out. And if I did work out, it was only 3 or 4 times a week, not to mention the fact that the workout would be some nonsense that would barely make me sweat.
I am glad that I overcame my fears and completed this program! Never before have I worked out and accomplished results so fast. The course is a bit extreme at first, but there is tremendous support from the staff and other people trying to work out to obtain the same goals. Anytime that I would feel like taking a break between repetitions, I ‘d look around to see if anyone else is slacking, and of course they weren’t, this further challenged me to step up my game and stay focused on my goals. There is ALAWAYS someone there to help you when you feel you can’t go on. After about the 7th week, I couldn’t see myself not coming to class, every time I’d look at how my body was shrinking, I became more motivated to get back down to my high school weight.
Also, the guide they provide for the nutrition helped me out immensely. I never realized just how many bad things I was stuffing in my body! Writing things down really made me see just how much I was eating, and why I was ballooning. I didn’t even know what a proportioned amount of food was prior to the course. Getting the hang of this really facilitated my weight loss goals. After a while, I didn’t feel the need to write down what I ate, as I felt that I was finally in control with food. Anytime I’d want to eat anything with a lot of sugar or fat, I’d look at my before picture to refresh my memory. I don’t ever want to look like that again.
I would recommend this program to everyone; it is a lot of hard work at first. But once you get into it, you start to crave it. You feel so energized after every work out! It is truly awesome. I can honestly say I have never enjoyed working out this much. And I would recommend this program to anybody either trying to lose weight or to get fit.
